I am planning to take admission in Indus University for doing higher studies want details about scholarships available. Will you please provide University Scholarship details so that I get to know how much I have to score to avail scholarship also tell details about the norms for this?

Indus University was formerly known as Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering.

In 2012 Indus got university status and is recognized by the University Grants Commission.

University Scholarship details:

At Indus University, scholarships are subject to financial constraints and academic merit.

You will be considered for scholarship, if they secure a GPA of 3.7 or higher in the current semester.

Scholarships may also be awarded by the Scholarship Committee to outstanding students bearing good character and are in need of financial assistance.

The number and conditions of scholarships shall be determined by the Committee.

Scholarship can be suspended, if the progress, class attendance and general behavior of the student is not satisfactory.

All scholarships shall be tenable for one semester in the first instance but may be renewed, if the student maintains a high standard of academic performance and good conduct in the next semesters.

All applications for scholarships, stipends and exemptions for tuition fee must reach the Registrar through the Chairperson of the concerned department by the due date.

It shall not be permissible for a student to defer dues of the respective program merely on the ground that his application for scholarship is pending.

The norms are:

Overall topper of the University in the year -100% (Chancellor’s Scholarship)

Students securing good marks in Scholarship tests: Up to 40% of tuition fee as scholarship

Girl students of Himachal Pradesh : Up to 40% of tuition fee as scholarship

Children of Employees of the university: Up to 50% of tuition fee as scholarship
