Re: TMH Books For IIT JEE
Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2016 has been conducted by seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB). IIT JEE Exam pattern: Some of the important subject-wise topics are as follows- Physics- Includes General Topics, Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics and Modern Physics Mathematics- Includes topics under Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus and Vectors Chemistry- Includes topics under Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry TMH Books For IIT JEE: I would personally suggest that you should not go for TMH publications PCM for cracking jee advanced and the reasons are mentioned below: 1.Questions covered in TMH are typically past years jee paper questions. You won't get any new logical questions in it. 2.The solutions are provided at the back ,which discourages us from any strenuous application of mind. However hard you might try you can't resist the temptation of seeing the solution. 3.There are no multiconcept questions present in the book ,which are a integral part of jee advanced paper. List of Math books you can prefer: R.D. Sharma Maths XI & XII Hall Knight Higher Algebra I.A. Maron Problems in Calculus of One Variable Arihant Prakashan Algebra Arihant Prakashan Differential Calculus Arihant Prakashan Integral Calculus S.L. Loney Plane Trigonometry Part 1 S. L. Loney Plane Co-ordinate Geometry Hall and Knight Higher Algebra Shanti Narayan Vector W. Feller Introduction Probability & Its Applications
