GATE Rank For HPCL

I am planning to give the GATE exam so that I can join Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). Will you please provide me details about GATE Rank required for joining HPCL also provide details about Salary & Emoluments offered after selecting in HPCL?

HPCL takes recruitment for various posts of graduate engineers in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electronics & Telecommunications.

The cut off list will be calculated on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2016-2017 only.

Tentative date:

The HPCL cut off list is expected to be declared officially in the month of March or April, 2016-2017.

Salary & Emoluments:

Selected candidates will be entitled for a consolidated Stipend of Rs 33,000/- per month during the training period

After completing their training, they will be absorbed at the entry level in the Management Cadre in “A” grade in the Salary Scale of Rs 24,900 - 50,500, subject to fulfilling the required performance related/ other criterion.

They will be further on Probation for a period of 6 months.

After being absorbed, they will be entitled to allowances at 50% of Basic Pay under Cafeteria Approach, Dearness Allowance, HRA, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, and Superannuation Benefits as per Corporation’s policy in force from time to time upon absorption.

The Cost to Company will be Rs 11 lakhs per annum approximately (may vary from metro cities and other locations)

Submission of online GATE 2016 Application: September 1- October 8, 2015

Start of Online Application: December 31, 2015

Last date for applying to HPCL: February 2, 2016
