Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Scientific Writing Workshop was organized from 27 to 29 April 2015 in Mumbai by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai & Population Council, New Delhi.

Objectives of the workshop
To teach the principles of effective scientific writing, and
organizing ideas and content in a logical way for scientific publications/papers.

To build the skills of writing specific sections of a scientific paper .
[Abstract/Executive Summary, Introduction, Methods, Data Analysis and Findings, Discussion, Recommendations].

To train in the use of Endnote reference manager software.

Eligibility :

MPhil/PhD scholars and early career University faculty with a social science background.

Researchers who completed data collection/analysis and/or are beginning manuscript preparation will be given preference.
