NCF (National Curriculum Framework) is the framework of teaching published by the National Council of Educational Research and Training NCERT in India. The NCERT had published four frameworks in the years 1975, 1988, 2000 and 2005.

Dear NCF 2015,
It seems NCERT, SERTs and other institutions are simply publicising and popularising NCF. Ignou BEd course materials have excellent source.
But what we, teaching teachers, need is textbooks and workbooks that train students selflearn, build in and develop academic and lifeskils for everyday life and for future world.
Even I have worked for SERT Karnataka, I learnt not to talk about n against text books and textbook committee about practicality of text books and academic system, when I was cautioned by education OFFicers in the department.
I told, when English was introduced from class 1 in 2006 at govt schools in Karnataka, to devise textbooks practical, students friendly and teachers friendly. But they did RIE friendly and DSERT friendly, but against students, teachers n parents. This led to gradual closing of govt schools, mainly primary, channelising towards private English medium schools.
This is what our educationists, education officers do serve the department, devising education policies in ac rooms and highly paid. Finally actual teaching teachers are blamed, but now teachers have become blunt.
May god bless NCF 2015..!

Dear Mr. Yash Pal, It took 10+ years for government even to think about change in the most crucial part of society and when we were expecting a major shift in the teaching learning process, I didn't find anything exciting in the new NCF. A paradigm change in the social science curriculum which will make the future generation proud of its heritage, sensitive to its surrounding, wise to judge its economy and policy and responsible in its political life -still remains elusive. The curriculum should include corruption, nepotism, gender based discrimination, disregard for rules , importance of public opinion and the formation of the same as the basic areas of civic life rather than knowing the article of constitution
