At IISC the M Des in Product Design and Engineering courses is started in 1996, the Master of Design (M.Des) programme is a two-year full-time graduate programme.

It aims to impart education in the design and development of products that are innovative and competitive.

Selection is based on the performance in the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) followed by an interview conducted at the centre.

Eligibility:
Candidates have Bachelor degree with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST candidate) or any other equivalent qualification
