Would you please give here detail about the All India PG Dental (MDS) Entrance Exam (AIPGDEE) for admission in MDS course at AIIMS?

All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi conduct All India PG Dental (MDS) Entrance Exam (AIPGDEE) for providing admission in MDS program .

For AIPGDEE eligibility :

Qualification:
Candidate must have BDS degree of a University recognized by Dental Council of India .
Candidate must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/ Practical training.

Candidate must have obtained a minimum of the following marks in aggregate :
For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate
For all other categories including OBC Category 55% marks in aggregate

Entrance test for MDS will consist :
One paper

Duration:
1 hours 30 minutes (90 minutes)

No. of questions:
90 Objective based multiple choice questions

Marking Scheme:
1 marks for each correct response

Negative Marking:
1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response

Syllabus:
Exam will be based on the syllabus taught during BDS
