You should have scored at least 45% in the exam

Way of selection

You shall be generally admitted through an entrance test followed by an interview.

Applicants who are qualified in NET ( LS ) for Junior Research Fellowship ( JRF ) and Foreign Nationals with an International/National fellowship like TWAS ( Third world Academy of Science ) shall be exempted from entrance test for Ph.D.
