Almost the syllabus of IIT JEE and AIEEE is same for candidates who are preparing for the engineering admission entrance exam. Syllabuses of both exams are depending on course of subject which is learn by candidates in their 11th and 12th class. AIEEE syllabus for all covering subjects such is Physics, Chemistry and Maths (Mathematics). AIEEE Physics syllabus: Physics and Measurement Kinematics Laws of Motion Work, Energy and Power Rotational Motion Gravitation Properties of Solids and Liquids Thermodynamics Kinetic Theory of Gases Oscillations and Waves Electrostatics Current Electricity Magnetic effects of Current and Magnetism Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents Electromagnetic Waves Optics Atoms and Nuclei Electronic Devices Communication Systems IIT JEE Physics Syllabus General: Mechanics: Kinematics in one and two dimensions (Cartesian coordinates only), projectiles; Circular motion (uniform and non-uniform); Relative velocity. Newton's laws of motion; Systems of particles; Law of gravitation; Rigid body, moment of inertia, parallel and perpendicular axes theorems, moment of inertia of uniform bodies with simple geometrical shapes; Hooke's law, Young's modulus. Pressure in a fluid; Pascal's law; Buoyancy; Surface energy and surface tension, capillary rise; Wave motion (plane waves only), longitudinal and transverse waves, Superposition of waves; progressive and stationary waves; Vibration of strings and air columns. Resonance; Beats; Speed of sound in gases; Doppler effect (in sound). Thermal physics: Electricity and magnetism: Capacitance; Parallel plate capacitor with and without dielectrics; Capacitors in series and parallel; Electric current: Magnetic moment of a current loop; Effect of a uniform magnetic field on a current loop; Moving coil galvanometer, voltmeter, ammeter and their conversions. Electromagnetic induction: Faraday's law, Lenz's law; Self and mutual inductance; RC, LR and LC circuits with d.c. and a.c. sources. Optics: Rectilinear propagation of light; Wave nature of light: Modern physics: Photoelectric effect;
