The Canadian Healthcare Education Commons offers an online workspace for groups to collaborate.

The work atmosphere includes a wiki, blog, resources, event calendar, posts, Q&A and notification features.

Any member of the Commons can create, manage and moderate a community.

User admittance to a community can range from site-wide to private.

Access to a community is founded by the community manager and can be designated as:-

Open (Any site member can contribute)

Moderated (Joining requires admin approval with the option to hide content from non-members )

Private (Joining requires an invitation and all content is hidden from non-members)
