Study the Central Asian Region from Diversified Point of view, the Centre of Central Asian Studies was established in 1978 at the University of Kashmir, Srinagar.

Programmes Offered :

Research-Oriented in Nature, the Centre has no post-graduate level teaching
programme though the faculty members as a part of their inter-disciplinary and multidisciplinary activities teach post-graduate courses in other departments of the Faculties of Social Sciences, Humanities, etc.
