The Defence Research and Development Organization is an agency of the Republic of India, thrilling with the military's research and development, headquartered in New Delhi, India.

As you require information pertaining the Defence Research and Development Organization Missiles

Prithvi ballistic missiles:-

The Prithvi (Sanskrit: Earth) missiles are a variety of SRBMs produced for the Indian Air Force and Army; a variant for the Navy has been deployed on Sukanya class patrol craft.

Another submarine-launched alternative known as the K-15 is under development.

The Prithvi is an tremendously accurate liquid fuelled missile with a range of up to 350 km.

While relatively reasonably priced and accurate, with a high-quality payload, its logistics footprint is high, on account of it being liquid fuelled.

Agni missile:-

The Agni missile is a family unit of medium to intercontinental range ballistic missiles developed by India, named after one of the five elements of nature.

Agni Missiles are long range, nuclear weapons capable surface to surface ballistic missile.

The first missile of the series, Agni-I was developed under the incorporated Guided Missile Development Program and tested in 1991.

After its success, Agni missile program was alienated from the IGMDP upon realizing its strategic importance.

It was elected as a special program in India's defence budget and given adequate funds for subsequent development.

As of 2008, the Agni missile family comprises three deployed alternatives while two more variants are under testing:

Name Type Range

Agni-I MRBM700 – 1,250 km (Operational)

Agni-II I RBM 2,000 – 3,000 km (Operational)

Agni-III IRBM 3,500 – 5,000 km (Operational)

Agni-IV IRBM 3,000 – 4,000 km (Operational)

Agni-V ICBM 5,000 – 8,000 km (Testing)

Agni-VI ICBM 8,000 – 10,000 km (Under development)
