The Directorate of Women and Child Development is the nodal Department for ensuring a state of well being for women and children of Karnataka.

The Directorate formulates action plans, policies and programmes towards achieving this mission, guides and co-ordinates the efforts of governmental and non-governmental organisations working for the empowerment of women and development of children.

Here I am telling you name of the Programmes for Child Welfare and Development:

Inegrated Programme for Street children

Scheme for prevention of trafficking in women and children
