KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test actually KCET is a state level examination, which is conducted every year to fill UG Engineering seats in the Colleges/Universities of Karnataka. Engineering Course The core subjects of the candidate in qualifying examination will be Physics, Mathematics and English, along Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science as optional subjects. In the qualifying exam, a candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/Category-I/OBC)
