Hello it’s good that you have done MBA and now you are planning for PDH let me tell you that the candidates who have Postgraduates in management or MBA degree holders with at least 55 per cent marks are eligible to appear for Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management or the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Those who qualify any of these tests are eligible to get admission to research programs leading to Ph.D. with fellowship/ stipend.

Several universities, business schools and institutions offer research programs such as Fellow program or Ph.D. in management with different areas of specializations including human resource management.

The Indian Institutes of Management conduct computer-based Common Admission Test (CAT) every year as a prerequisite for admission to postgraduate programs and doctoral-level fellow programs in management (FPM). In Kerala, Kochi and Kozhikode will be the test centers.

Bachelor's degree holders in any discipline with at least 50 per cent marks and students appearing in their final year examination are eligible to appear for IIM-CAT.

IIMs and several other business schools use CAT score to shortlist candidates for group discussion and interview to postgraduate and fellow program in management.

The UGC conducts NET for junior research fellowships and lectureships in various humanities subjects including human resource management twice a year.

Those who have secured at least 55 per cent marks in their Master's degree course and those appearing in their final qualifying examination are eligible to appear for the test. For JRF, the upper age-limit is 28 years
