IIT Kanpur has turned a golden 50 and the alumni association is celebrating this momentous occasion by arranging four alumni conferences across the world

While all these events will focus on the theme of “innovation and leadership in the 21st Century”, the Bangalore event will particularly focus on ‘Igniting Innovation’ at IITK and in the country, and ‘Building Bridges’ between the alumni and their alma mater.

They discuss how the alumni can contribute over the next few decades through innovations to meet the needs of our nation, fraught as it is with incredible growth-related challenges as well as the challenges of climate change and global warming. Innovation takes the center stage and they will not only investigate how to spur innovation in the IITK products, but also set-up an innovation challenge and an innovation center as a dedication to the nation on behalf of IITK.
