Hey buddy The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is a university in the city of Vadodara, in Gujarat state, India.

Originally known as the Baroda College of Science, it became a university in 1949 after the independence of the country.

MSU PET Exam Pattern

Part – 1 : Written Test (Multiple choice questions)

There will be only one test paper Faculty-wise carrying weightage of 100 marks. There shall be 50 Multiple choice questions; and each question carries Two marks.

There is no negative marking in the examination.The medium of examination will be in English only.

The duration of the test shall be 3 hours. The Faculty wise syllabus for the written test is available at our website.

The candidates who score 40% marks(40 out of 100 Marks) in Written Test , will be eligible for the Personal Interview.


Part – 2 : Personal Interview

The candidates who have scored 40% marks (40 out of 100 Marks)in written test shall appear for the personal interview carrying a weightage of 25 marks which shall be held at the Faculty level wherein the Dean and the members of the Departmental Research Committee of the concerned subject shall interview the applicant about his / her research areas and interests.

In cases where there is only one member of research committee in a particular department, The Dean may co-opt members from the related Department of the Faculty for the conduct of the personal interview.
