You want CBSE class 10th English Question Paper so I have question paper which I am given providing you:

Q1. Read the following passage carefully: (5 marks) He‘s a lover of languages, fluent in German, French and English and of course, his mother tongue Tamil. Teaching German at the Goethe Institute upto seven days a week, and heading the long distance learning programme in cooperation with IGNOU, keep him very busy. As if his life wasn‘t hectic enough, P. Saralathan has translated Franz Kafka‘s ‗Letter to the Father‘ from the original German text into Tamil. The Tamil translation is entitled ‗Thandaiku‘. Saralathan says he was inspired to translate ‗Letter to the Father‘ for the potential of Kafka‘s words make us look at the power wielded by Indian parents over their children. In a rare departure from contemporary Indian or Tamil literature, this book explores the son‘s pent up remorse towards his father. It is not to say that a son in India cannot feel for his father, but according to Saralathan, it‘s something that is not really discussed openly in our patriarchal society.

Answer the following questions by selecting the most appropriate options from the ones given below :

(a) Saralathan remains extremely busy __________ . (i) seven days teaching of German at Goethe Institute (ii) heads distance learning programme of IGNOU (iii) translating German into Tamil. (iv) all of the above

(b) He was inspired to translate ‗Letter to the Father‘ into Tamil __________ . (i) to make us understand Kafka‘s words (ii) to make us understand the power Indian parents hold over their children (iii) to educate Indian parents

Rest of questions is given in attached pdf file. I am uploading those file and you can free download whenever you want.
