Hello sir, here I came to get detail for Medical Standard test in CPO SI exam? Can any one tell me which criteria required in Medical Standard test for CPO SI exam?

For CPO SI exam after qualifying in physical standard candidates are invite for medical standard. All candidates applying for the recruitment and prima-facie eligible will be called to appear in Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test at places finalized by the Commission in consultation with the CPOs. Detailed scrutiny of their eligibility will not be undertaken by the Commission before PET/ PST. Therefore, it will be the responsibility of the candidate to verify their eligibility as prescribed in this notice before appearing for PST/ PET. Medical Examination All the candidates who qualify in the PET will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade I of any Central/State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary. Medical standard: Eye sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses. The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. Required Physical Efficiency (Endurance) Test(PET): For male candidates only: 100 meters race in 16 seconds 6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances Female Candidates: 100 metres race in 18 seconds 800 metres race in 4 minutes Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances. High Jump : 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances.
