The Central Board of Secondary Education announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 10th July, 2016 (SUNDAY) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges on behalf of UGC. The UGC NET is conducting for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor, in Indian universities and colleges. CBSE will conduct NET in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET Examination Cities spread across the country. Eligibility: Candidates are pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject and are also eligible for Assistant Professor. Important Dates: Online Application Form Submission 12th April 2016 Last date for Applying Online 12th May 2016 Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of (SYNDICATE/CANARA/ICICI/HDFC BANK) 13th May 2016 Correction in Particulars of application form on the website 17th to 23rd May, 2016 Age: Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor Examination Schedule: National Eligibility Test (NET)10th July, 2016 (SUNDAY) Session Paper Marks Number of Question Duration First I 100 60 out of which 50 question to be attempted 1¼ Hours (09:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M) IST Second II 100 50 questions all are compulsory 1¼ Hours (11:15 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.)
