Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test was conducted for admission to first year
undergraduate (bachelors) programmes in different disciplines of engineering
(B.E/B.Tech) in government aided and private unaided technical institutions
of the state.

But now Rajasthan government has scrapped RPET, it does admission on the
basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains score.

So, I am giving you some information about JEE Mains exam

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) is being conducted by CBSE

JEE Main will be held in the month of April in online and offline modes.


Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, Other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12 and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main

JEE Main Exam Pattern

JEE (Main) – 2016 shall have two papers. Candidates may take Paper-1, or Paper-2, or both as per the course(s) they are seeking admission to.
JEE Main Paper 1 is for BE / B.Tech, Paper 2 is for B.Arch . B.Planning. Both the papers are of 3 hours duration each. Engineering aspirants must attempt Paper 1 and Architecture aspirants can go for Paper 2.
