What is the eligibility criteria to apply for the B Tech program at Amity University located in Noida for that will you please help me here?

On your concern I will tell you the eligibility criteria to get admission in BTECH program at Amity University.

Eligibility criteria
The minimum academic qualification for admission through JEE-2014 is that the candidate must have passed in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII), or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination with 60% marks for general category candidates.

Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final, or equivalent, examination and whose results are not declared may also appear in counseling.

Such candidates will be admitted provisionally, subject to the submission of proof of passing in qualifying examination latest by September 15, 2014 at the allotted institution.

In case they fail to comply with this deadline for providing the proof of passing in the qualifying examination, their admission will stand cancelled.

Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E. / B.Tech Courses shall be as under:

Exam pattern

Physics 25

Chemistry 25

Mathematics/Biology 25

English 15


All the questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Total no. of questions in one set are 90 with maximum time limit 120 min
No marks would be awarded if more than one choice has been selected for any question.
Approximately 1.25 minute per questions on the average are reserved for solution of each questions.
Four marks would be awarded for each correct entry and one mark will be deducted for wrong entry.
The difficulty level of the questions has been carefully maintained according to the maximum time.
