Hello sir I want to take admission in Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) for MBA so will you please tell me the eligibility criteria for this Program??

The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University was established in July 1989 by Act XX- of the Maharashtra State Legislature, named after Yashwantrao Chavan, Maharashtra’s great political leader and builder of modern Maharashtra.

The candidates seeking admission to the Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.), Programme of this University will have to appear for and show sufficient level of competence and aptitude in a Common ‘Entrance Examination’ conducted by the University.

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree with minimum 45% marks.

The percentage of marks will be relaxed by 5% in the case of Reserved Category candidates.


MBA Entrance Pattern:-


Reading Comprehension - 12 marks
Verbal Ability - 20 marks
Numerical Ability - 16 marks
Business Data Interpretation - 24 marks
Business Application - 16 marks
Business Judgement - 12 marks

Total - 100 marks

All the questions are of the ‘multiple choice’ type, wherein each item is given four options.

The candidate has to ‘select’ only one of the given options as the correct answer to the item and indicate the same by clicking on the corresponding circle.

Every item carries 2 mark


Fee Structure

Entrance Fees Rs.500/-

University Programme Fee : Rs. 12000/-

Study Centre Fee to be paid at Study Centre : Rs. 3000/-
