State Bank of India hires Indian Citizens for appointment in Clerical Cadre. The eligibility requirements for applying for Clerical Job in SBI or State Bank of India are as follows:

Nationality:
Candidates must be a citizen of India.

Age:
a) Minimum Age : 18 years Maximum Age : 28 years
b) The upper age limit in some cases is relaxed as under :
OBC Other Backward Classes VI Visually Impaired XS Ex-Serviceman
SC Scheduled Caste GEN General Category HI Hearing Impaired
ST Scheduled Tribe PWD Person with Disability OH Orthopaedically Handicapped

Educational Qualification:

A Degree (Graduation level) from a recognized university, or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central/State Government.

Those who are in the final year of Graduation/Semester may also apply provisionally.

Footnotes- SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria

• According to the norms of SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria, candidate must be able to write and speak English.
• Applicants must be aware of local language.
• Date of passing the examination is taken from the last assemble mark-sheet/provisional certificate as issued by the university physically or posted on the official website.
• Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have acquired the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Navy/Air Force, on completing the course not less than 15 years of service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible.

State Bank of India Clerks Selection Process is based on Online Objective type Test and Personal Interview.

Exam Pattern:-

1. Written Examination:

The test will be online objective type, consisting of
(i) General Awareness
(ii) General English
(iii) Quantitative Aptitude
(iv) Reasoning Ability
(v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge.

The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. Each test will be of 40 marks.

For these objective type tests of total 200 marks candidates will be given a composite time of 2 Hours 15 minutes.

There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests.

1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.

2. Interviews:
The candidates who qualified in online test will be called for interview.
