Average Salary Of New Iims

Hello buddy I want to know that what are the Average Salary packages of the new IIMs in comparison to IIM A/B/C?

The 6 new IIMs in addition to 7 older ones started functioning among 2010 and 2011 with small batch sizes.

Their alumni base is gradually expanding. Let us know their fee structure, proposed batch sizes and placement performance.

Those who wish to corroborate their admission in one of these IIMs have to submit the acceptance of admission offer and deposit the admission fee as per the specified deadline lying in their respective mails.

Here are the details -

New IIMs out of competitive pressures, release inflated, misstated, erroneous reports that maintain the scenario to be far better than they actually are.

A variety of techniques are followed to do the same ranging from counting international offer salaries (the one or two that new IIMs have) into normal domestic salary averages, taking the average for only the top 50 percentile of the batch, being extremely creative with variable pay packages etc.

Example:

One student gets placed in a Abu Dhabi based manufacturing co for 30 lakh INR.

Now in Indian currency, it is a big amount, but by Gulf standards (on a PPP comparison) it is a rather normal package.

Now if a college has to account for it correctly, it has to either convert the amount into INR on the basis of PPP or give it out under a separate header as International Salary.

They generally add it together with domestic salaries and give out a misrepresented consolidated average salary.
