The University of Calicut is an affiliating university located at Thenjipalam in Malappuram district of Kerala state in India.

The arts festivals under Calicut university are generally prorated in to 6 zones, namely, A, B, C, D, E, F zones.

Among these 6 zones, C-zone is the largest event being conducted in Malappuram district.

123 Colleges participate and more than 4500 students compete in this arts festival.

It is one of the most prestigious and significant events organized within college level in Malappuram district.

The honorable achievement of hosting the C-zone arts fest was finally effectuated by the GEMS Arts and Science college, Ramapuram in the academic year of 2016.

There are 2143, 977 candidates in the off-stage and on-stage competitions respectively.

GEMS Arts and Science College, Ramapuram is one of the biggest self-financing college in Co-operative Sector in Kerala.
