The Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto is an interdisciplinary academic centre with various research and educational programs committed to the field of globalization. It was established in 2000. MGA / MBA Program The combined MGA/MBA program provides students with an opportunity to integrate a truly international approach and perspective into their study of business and bring a business perspective to the study of global affairs. Admission Requirements Four-year (4 year) BA or equivalent A minimum CGPA of mid B, and a minimum GPA of B+ in the final year of undergraduate studies Admission is highly competitive, and meeting this requirement does not guarantee admission. A background in microeconomics is required to take the core course GLA1001H Macro & International Economics. Students who have not taken microeconomics within the last two years and received at least a B+ will be required to take GLA1010H Microeconomics in their first year of the MGA program. International Students: Please refer to the School of Graduate Studies degree equivalency tool to ensure you have the required credentials to apply to the MGA program. Payment of your application fee ($120) Structure of the MGA/MBA Program- Year 1- Students are enrolled as full-time MGA students. Summer between Year 1 and 2- Global Internship (required). Year 2- Students are enrolled as full-time MBA students. Year 3- Students are enrolled as full-time MBA students and part-time MGA students.
