The Vision and Mission of the Department of Electronics and Information Technology(DeitY) is as given below:

Mission

To advance e-Governance for enabling residents, advancing the comprehensive and manageable development of the Electronics, IT and ITeS commercial enterprises, improving India's part in Internet Governance, embracing a multipronged approach that incorporates improvement of HR, advancing R&D and advancement, upgrading productivity through computerized benefits and guaranteeing a protected the internet.

Goals of the Department:

e-Government: Providing e-framework for conveyance of e-administrations

e-Industry: Promotion of gadgets equipment assembling and IT-ITeS industry

e-Innovation/R&D: Implementation of R&D Framework - Enabling production of Innovation/R&D Infrastructure in developing ranges of ICT&E/Establishment of instrument for R&D interpretation
