The Himachal Pradesh University was established on July 22, 1970. The Mission and Objectives of the University is to develop the soul of free enquiry, to encourage autonomous and basic considering, to be a vault of learning, to be an instrument of dispersal of information and to advance the conventions, values revered in Indian legacy and custom. To be particular, its motivation is to enable, specifically, the general population of Himachal Pradesh, the majority of whom lives in troublesome, remote and tribal ranges, through instructive procedures by undertaking educating, examination and effort programs. The M.Sc in Chemistry course details: Qualification Master of Science (M. Sc.) Four year certification of a University set up by law in India (with the subject of study for M.Sc. as one of the subjects) in second Division or with no less than 45% imprints (40% if there should arise an occurrence of SC/ST applicants) or Honors in the subject concerned. Premise of Admission The admission to these courses will be made entirely on the premise of imprints acquired in the Entrance Test and should be interested in all subject to the reservation affirmed by the University. The legitimacy will be resolved on the premise of aggressive examination (composed test and past scholarly record of the applicant). The Entrance Test might be of 100 imprints and 30 imprints are for past scholarly record of the understudy. The Written Test might be of different decision questions (MCQ) in nature in every subject according to the B.Sc.I,II,III pass courses endorsed by the Himachal Pradesh University. There will be 100 inquiries of one stamp each. The span of the test will be 1-1/2 hours. The separation of 30 imprints for the past scholastic record will be as under: Matric or Equivalent Examination 10% of the rate of imprints acquired by a hopeful +2 or Equivalent Examination 10% of the rate of imprints acquired by a hopeful B.Sc./or whatever other proportionate examination 10% of the rate of imprints got by a competitor. The base qualifying marks for the Entrance Test will be 35% (if there should be an occurrence of SC/ST applicants, the base qualifying marks might be decreased until the full SC/ST standard for affirmation has been depleted) for calling the possibility for Interview/Admission.
