Can you tell me about the MBA (Master in Business Administration) Program objectives and entry dates in IMI International Management Institute in Luzern in Switzerland?

The IMI Luzern MBA is an intensive, two semester MBA programme allowing specializing in Swiss Hotel Management Operations.

For those with little or no practical experience, there is the possibility of a six-month paid, professional practice (between semesters one and two).

Programme Objective

The first semester is a 22 week intensive residential programme taught on campus in Kastanienbaum, Luzern.
The second semester is for your Dissertation or Field Consulting Project.
For those lacking practical experience, a 22 week professional practice where may opt to work in a hospitality business either in Switzerland or abroad arranged by its Careers team.

Bachelor's degree
Proficiency in English: 6.0 IELTS or equivalent

One with the required English level has the option to refresh their language skills through one of four week, intensive Pre-Sessional English Courses (PSECs).
One who needs to improve the English level to meet the requirements for course entry can join one of 11 week University English Preparatory Courses (UEPPs).

Awards
There are three levels of award available dependent on credit points attained.
Award will be in the name of the specialist pathway having chosen.

On successful completion of 200 credit points one will be awarded:
An IMI Luzern MBA, awarded by IMI.

On successful completion of 140 credit points will be awarded:
An IMI Postgraduate Diploma, awarded by IMI and validated by the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality.

On successful completion of 80 credit points will be awarded:
An IMI Postgraduate Certificate, awarded by IMI and validated by the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality.
