Can you tell me details about eligibility requirement for ‘Udaan J&K’ program of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC)?

Launched by the Government of India, with financial support from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise, ‘Udaan J&K’ is a unique scheme that offers training opportunity for 90 Days at Chandigarh Group of Colleges Mohali, Punjab to Graduate/ Post – graduate engineers to increase their employability.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

One having domicile of Jammu and Kashmir only are eligible.

Upper age limit is 28 years, as on the date of walk-in-interview

One having full time Bachelor degree in disciplines namely Information Technology,
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communications with minimum 60% marks only can apply.

Final year students of above branches also apply subject to getting 60% marks in degree and if short listed, they will be considered for subsequent batches after declaration of the final result.

Documents Required:
Certified copies of following certificates by Gazetted Officer/Head of the Educational Institute from where the candidate has passed-out, is required together with original certificates for verification, at the time of walk-in-interview

Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of J&K state;

Academic qualifications certificates (10th class, 12th class and engineering degree, additional qualification, if any);

Birth certificate (if date of birth is not specifically mentioned in educational certificate);

Medical fitness certificate from a doctor of Government hospital;

Work experience certificate, if any;

Caste certificate, if applicable;

Character certificate from the institute last attended/from a Gazetted officer;

Original certificates produced at the time of walk-in-interview will be returned after verification; and

Candidate has to affix latest passport size photograph with date (self-attested photograph as taken not before 15 days from the date of walk-in-interview) with three extra copies.
