VIT Jaipur RPET Cutoff

Can you provide me the cut off of RPET (Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test) for admission in Vivekananda Institute of Technology (VIT) in Jaipur as I want to check if I have a chance to get admission this year?

Admissions to the B.Tech courses are done through counselling done on the basis of rank scored in Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) which is conducted annually by Rajasthan Board of Technical Education.

But REAP 2016-17 Admission Process through JEE Mains 2016 & Direct Admission in Rajasthan State/ Cut-Off/ Counseling.

Cutoff can be defined as the minimum marks which would be set by CBSE to select the best candidates. If one scores rank or marks equal to or more than the cutoff, one would be picked for counseling and seat allotment.

However, just crossing the JEE Main Cutoff doesn’t guarantee admission. If succeed in scoring marks more than the cutoff, one is included in the final merit list.

In this list, names of those one would be included in decreasing order of marks that cross JEE Main Cutoff.

B Tech Educational Qualification Criteria in Vivekananda Institute of Technology (VIT):

One pass with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to “SC/ST/ Non Creamy Layer OBC/ Non Creamy Layer SBC” of Rajasthan state) in Class XII with subjects Maths, Physics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer/Biology taken together, of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan/ Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

One who is appearing in the qualifying exam class XII is provisionally permitted to appear in JEE Main. Such candidates will only be eligible for subsequent counseling and admission, provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned above.
