What is the eligibility for registration of Phd in Mathematics for 2012 from Delhi University? I have completed my masters in Mathematics and now want to do Phd, pls suggest me the fast way to join DU for this.

PHD in Mathematics, Delhi University PhD stands for Doctor of Philosophy. It is an advanced academic degree granted by universities for extensive study and research in any particular subject. In many western countries, PhD is considered as the highest degree one can get. The demands for an award of PhD degree is different in all countries, where in some countries candidates must do coursework with research work, in a few other countries, candidates can have their doctorate degrees by doing only extensive research work. A PhD in Mathematics is considered a respected degree as doing research work in Mathematics which is quite tough. To gain the degree candidate must present a detailed thesis consisting of a full proof study of any particular subject in concern. For a PhD degree in Mathematics, candidates must have passed graduation with Mathematics as one of the major subjects if not the only one, offered that their bachelor’s degree is a valid one. PhD holders in Mathematics can start their careers as professors or lecturers or even pursue further work in the field of research. |

I found Delhi University is Highlr Corrupt insititution, NOT only in India but also widely know for its continue irregularities. I may suggest to the students as well parents, please be carefull with such suspicious instutution. I strongly, request every one [if he is sincere student], don't go to Delhi University for Study or Jobs. |
