Saint Peter's University Hospital (SPUH) is a Roman Catholic hospital on Easton Avenue in New Brunswick, New Jersey. It is a non-profit, 478-licensed-bed acute care teaching hospital. It was established in 1907. The hospital is a member of the Saint Peter's Healthcare System, Inc.

The hospital is a major clinical affiliate of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences

Saint Peter's University Hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and was the tenth hospital in the nation to be designated as a Magnet hospital for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 1998.

Saint Peter's brings the latest medical practices and highly skilled professionals to the bedside.

They treat more than 30,000 inpatients and more than 200,000 outpatients annually.

In 2010, they became one of only six hospitals in the world to have achieved this honor for a fourth consecutive term.

As the “gold standard” of nursing care, the Magnet Award is the highest honor given by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Saint Peter’s University Hospital continues to be recognized as a Top Performer and deliverer of services in the region by accrediting and quality-measuring organizations.
