The information Bulletin and Application form for UGC NET may also be obtained through Value Payable Post (V.P.P.) from the Indian Bank, 3/1, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi - 110 008, by sending a crossed Demand draft for Rs. 400/-, Rs. 200/- or Rs.100/-(as the case may be) drawn in favour of "Indian Bank, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi" payable at New Delhi. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts NET entrance exam, here are details; Eligibility; The Candidate should have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions. Examination Fee:- General - Rs.600/- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer), as per the Central list of OBC available on website: www.ncbc.nic.in - Rs.300/- SC/ST/PwD - Rs.150/- The candidates may pay the examination fee either by credit/ debit card or through e-challan generated during the online filling of the application form. In case of e-challan the payment should be made in the Syndicate/Canara/ICICI Bank. Paper Pattern:- The Test will consist of three papers. Session:- First •Paper:- I •Marks:- 100 •Number of Question:- 60 out of which 50 question to be attempted •Duration:- 1¼ Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.) Session:- First •Paper:- II •Marks:- 100 •Number of Question:- 50 questions all are compulsory •Duration:- 1¼ Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 NOON) Session:- Second •Paper:- III •Marks:- 150 •Number of Question:- 75 questions all are compulsory •Duration:- 2½ Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.)

As you want to apply for UGC net and for it asking for demand draft amount so here I would like to tell you fee submitted by only online mode beside it any other mode like demand draft, money order, IPO etc. will be rejected. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.: Fee General Candidates Rs.450/- Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website : Rs.225/- SC/ST/PWD candidates Rs.110/- Apply process Before applying Online, the you must possess the Scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format of less than 300 kb. After filling all the details for applying online for NET, the computer will automatically generate your ‘Bank Challan’ indicating your details therein. A print out of this Bank Challan may be taken by the you for payment through cash, on the next working day (after generating the challan from at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) alongwith Bank charges (commission) of Rs.40/- Two days after the payment of fee at SBI through filled Bank Challan, the candidate is required to check the status of fee payment at UGC and if the status is ‘OK’ the you will be able to take the printout of online Application Form (one copy), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) on separate A-4 size papers. You have to attach the UGC copy of the Bank Challan with the printout of online Application Form which you have to submit to the Registrar/Principal of UGC-NET Coordinating Institution opted by the candidate.
