WBJEE is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board for admission in Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges. Eligibility: In WBJEEM there are two separate merit lists of candidates eligible for centralized E-Counselling: (i) Engineering (ii) Pharmacy Citizenship: Applicant must be a citizen of India. Age: Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years of age or above but must not be above 25 (twenty five) years of age. Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board with: Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Minimum of 60% marks in the above subjects taken together (55% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination. Seat Reservation: Candidates with disability of 40% or more will be considered in PWD (Persons with Disability) category and they can claim the WBJEE Reservation of Seats. SC: 22% ST: 6% PWD: 3% Candidates in defense category would have 12 seats reserved in WBJEE Reservation of Seats, for them out of which: 7 seats: Reserved in Government Engineering & Technology State Colleges. 2 seats: Reserved at Jadavpur University. 3 seats: Reserved at Bengal Engineering & Science University. 10% of the approved seats in all the State Self Financing Engineering and Technology Colleges will be reserved for candidates having JEE Main score.
