I completed studies and want to apply for Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) post of Junior Telecom Officer (JTO). Will you provide BSNL JTO Notification and eligibility to apply?

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will release the vacancies for the post of Junior Telecom Officer (JTO).

BSNL selects the deserving candidates on the basis of their GATE Scores. Candidates need to appear in GATE-2020 and also need to fill the registration form in BSNL for the post of JTO (Civil) & JTO (Electrical).

BSNL JTO Eligibility:

They must have passed B.E or B.Tech in Telecom/ Electronics/ Radio/ Electrical/ Information Technology/ Instrumentation Engg.

Also, Candidates must be Indian Nationals. And,

Candidates who have passed with M.Sc (Electronics)/ Computer Science can also apply.

Age Criteria

Candidate must not be below 18 years and not exceed 30 years as on the last date of receipt of Online applications from the candidates.

Upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to the following categories as given below

SC/ST - by 5 years
OBC (NCL) - by 3 years

Selection Process

The mode of selection is through GATE result.
After the declaration of GATE result, the circle wise merit list will be prepared based on the GATE score and available vacancy of the circle.

BSNL shall not conduct any further Examination/interview etc. for the selection of the candidates for the recruitment of Direct JTO (Civil) & JTO (Electrical) in BSNL.

The appearance of the name in BSNL’s merit-list does/will not confer any right on the candidate for employment. A final call/appointment letter will be issued to the candidate after completion of all other formalities.

BSNL reserves the right to change the number of vacancies of JTO (Civil) & JTO (Electrical) as per Company requirement

GATE 2020 February 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2020
Registration starts from Second week of February 2020
Last date of registration Second week of March 2020
Last date for online payment Third week of March 2020
