BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) is one of the largest telecom networks in the country today.

JTO stands for Junior Telecom Operator and as the name suggests it is an entry level position within the BSNL network

BSNL JTO Exam Details

Eligibility:

Candidates having the qualification of B. E/B. Tech in Electrical / Civil Engineering is required to appear for GATE opting one of the GATE Paper codes, i.e., EE or CE. There is no interview and candidates will be shortlisted based on the GATE scores, vacancies, etc.

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian national.

Age Limit: The candidate must be a minimum of 18 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years

There are also provisions for relaxation in the age depending on the various categories which are listed below:

Category Relaxation in Age
SC / ST 5 Years
OBC 3 Years
SC / ST – PWD 15 Years
OBC – PWD 13 Years
OC – PWD 10 Years
BSNL Employees 5 Years
Ex-Servicemen As per the Central Government Rule

Candidates should also have a GATE Registration ID in order to apply for the post.
