Can you tell me if I can take admission in RTU affiliated college in Rajasthan after completing diploma in Computer Engineering from Gujarat?

No, you cannot apply in RTU affiliated college in Rajasthan after doing diploma in computer engineering from Gujarat.

Applicant of Rajasthan only gets direct admission in the second year of engineering through lateral entry. The Lateral Entry Exam is known as Lateral Entry in Engineering and Pharmacy LEEP.

There is a counseling process conducted for the diploma holder candidates and as per their percentage in diploma degree the colleges are allotted to the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry:

One must have passed Diploma from an AICTE approved Institution with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/Non Creamy Layer OBC/Non Creamy Layer SBC candidates of Rajasthan)

Or
Applicants need to pass Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with mathematics as a subject with minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/Non Creamy Layer OBC/Non Creamy Layer SBC candidates of Rajasthan)

Diploma/Degree will be considered for deciding the eligibility and respective merit.
