Combined Defense Service

Has the dates for Combined Defense Service for 1st exam been declared? I have already filled all the application forms but have not received any admit card or any other information.

Combined Defense Service exam date was gone on 12 February 2012. Now you can apply for next session of Combined Defence Service exam.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination for recruitment of various vacancies under Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.

CDS exam Eligibility Criteria 2014:
Age criteria
For IMA: 19 years to 24 years.
For Naval Academy: 19 years to 22 years.
For Air Force Academy: 19 years to 23 years.
For Officers Training Academy: 19 years to 25 years

Qualification:
IMA & OTA : you have to pass any undergraduate Degree of a recognized University or equivalent
Naval Academy and Air Force Academy:: you have to pass B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg

Last date for receipt of applications: 02nd December 2013
Date of Commencement of Exam: 09th February 2014
Duration of Exam.: 01 Day

Date of Notification: 19th July 2014
Last date for receipt of applications: 18th August 2014
Date of Commencement of Exam: 26th October 2014
Duration of Exam.: 1 Day
