KV TGT/PGT Exam Date

Will you please tell me that when the KV TGT/PGT Exam will be held?

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has conducted the TGT PGT Examination for the recruitment of officers, teachers etc in its various offices and institutions.

Here I am providing you the tentative dates

Name of the examination: KVS TGT PGT 2014

Date of examination: 15th December 2013

Date of declaration of result: 25.04.2014


KV TGT/PGT Eligibility:
Age limit:
PGT (post graduate teacher): Candidate must not exceed the age of 40 years
TGT (Trained graduate teacher): Candidate must not exceed the age of 35 years


Educational Qualifications:
For a PGT –
Candidate must have done post graduate M.Sc degree of regional college of education of NCERT from a recognized university.


For a PGT (Computer Science) –
Candidate must have a B.E/B.TECH in CSE/IT or a diploma or B.Sc or BCA or a post graduate diploma in computers


For a TGT –
Candidate must have done a 4 years M.Sc course of regional college of education of NCERT in the concerned subject or a second class Bachelor’s degree.
