Date of Exam for MHT-CET

Can you provide me the detail information about the MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Engineering Test (MHT-CET) course as I want to take admission in it?

MHT CET 2014 conducts admission process to the various engineering courses in Maharashtra. Candidates have to qualify in the JEE Main 2014 to be eligible to apply for the MHT CET 2014 Engineering Admissions.

MHT CET 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant must have cleared class XII or equivalent exam with physics and math as compulsory subjects and any one of chemistry/biology/biotechnology/computer science as optional.

Date of birth of the Candidate must be on or after 1 October 1989 (1984 for SC, ST and PwD).

Only three max attempts are allowed for JEE Main 2014.

Applicant must pass the qualifying examination with 50% marks at least (45% for backward classes and PwD students).


MHT CET 2014 Selection Procedure:
On the basis of the common composite scores calculated on the basis of JEE Main 2014 and HSC or Class XII or equivalent exam normalized score in the ratio 50:50.
