Achievements of ISRO India

I am from Delhi; here I want to know about the achievements of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Can give the list of its achievements? Where the head office of the organization is situated?

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was introduced in 1969. The Organization has a glorious history. Its great achievements are as follows:

1. Invention of 3 species of bacteria at an altitude of between 20–40 km.

2. Its latest satellite in the INSAT-3 series, INSAT- 3C, Launched on January 24, 2002.

3. METSAT, the 1st exclusive meteorological satellite
Launched by Satish Dhawan Space Centre on September 12, 2002.
