Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (EdCET) Conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for that academic year

The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the entrance examination, keeping in view the rules in force in respect of the statutory reservation of seats under various categories of candidates.
Curriculum Transactions:
1. The duration of B.Ed. Course will be of one year. Total number of working days - 210 days.
2. Number of days earmarked for Admissions and Theory Examinations - 30 days.
3. Number of working days - 180 days (1080 hours).
4. Number of Teaching Classroom / Instructional days only - 100-days(600 hours)
5. Number of days for Teaching Project Work = 30 days (180 hours).
6. Number of days for Teaching Practice and Internship=50 days (300 hours).
7. Number of days for Theory(classroom instruction, project & co-curricular activities) =130
days( 780 hours)
8. Number of days for Practicals (Teaching Practice and Internship) =50 days (300 hours).
9. Weightage for Theory in 180 days= 72%
10. Weightage for Practical in 180 days = 28%
Pattern of Theory Question Papers:
Duration of every theory paper will be of 3 hours and maximum number of marks is 100. The question paper comprises two sections
Section A – Consists of 10 short answer type questions with internal choice representing each unit of the course, the candidate is expected to answer each question in about one page not exceeding 12 lines.
Section B – Consists of only one essay type of question with internal choice, the candidate is expected to answer in about 4 pages not exceeding 40 lines

Eligibility:

(a) Applicants must have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./ B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for Ed.CET. Candidates have to present marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission.

(b) Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks either in the graduation Degree i.e. B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Home Science)/B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.M and or in the Masters Degree. However a relaxation is given to the reserved category.

B.Ed Entrance test:

The entrance test will be of objective type (multiple choice) examination. Candidate has to answer 150 questions in two hours time.

The Entrance Test was held on AUG 2014. Hall tickets will be provided to the candidates before 10 days of the Entrance Test.
