Is a B. com student eligible for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)???? Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi on the behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has include B.Com Graduates in the eligibility criteria for appointment of teachers in Classes I to VIII. Eligibility for CTET: The applicant should have completed Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi on the behalf of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The CBSE has issued a new circular stating that B Com graduates are also eligible for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), scheduled for June 26-2015. Eligibility for CTET: Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage Applicant must have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage Aspirants must have completed Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. ![]() ![]() Schedule of examination: Date of Examination 20.09.2015 Paper - II Timing: 09.30 To 12.00 Hours 20.09.2015 Paper - I Timing; 14.00 To 16.30 Hours Fees: General/OBC: Only Paper – I or II Rs.600/- Both Paper – I & II: Rs.1000/- SC/ST/Differently Abled Person: Only Paper – I or II : Rs.300/- Both Paper – I & II; Rs.500/-
