JEE Main B.Arch is all about candidates who are aspiring in the filed of Architecture.

JEE MAIN 2014 B.Arch – Eligibility

Date of Birth--
-Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1989 are eligible.
-However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years
-Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate will only be considered.

Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination—
-Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2012 or 2013;
OR
-Those who are appearing in their Class 12th Exam or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2014 are eligible to appear in JEE MAIN 2014 B.Arch Paper

No of subjects in the Qualifying Examination –
-Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/ qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main)
-The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE MAIN B.Arch Paper 2

No of Attempts--
The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE MAIN B.Arch Paper 2 shall be limited to 03 .

Qualifying marks ---
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates).

JEE Main Selection Procedure:
-Selection will be done on the basis of the JEE Main scores and the normalized marks of Class XII in the ratio 60:40.
-Admission will be based on the choices opted by the candidates during JEE Main Counselling and the JEE Main All India Ranks.

JEE Main Exam Pattern:

Section 1:
-It will consist of Aptitude Test with 50 Objective Questions for 200 marks
-Questions coming in this section test the general awareness, reasoning ability, analytical skills of the students.

Section 2:
-It will be a Maths Test with 30 Objective Questions for 120 marks.
-The syllabus is the same as the JEE Main 2014 Paper 1 for Maths.

Section 3:
It will be a Drawing test with 2 Questions (Memory, 2D Design) for 70 marks.

My son is preparing for B.Arch. If he fails in JEE Main and scores outstanding in B.Arch paper, what will be the result?

with 83 % marks in borads 2014 (CBSE), what is the marks required in jee mians paper 2 to get into any nit?
