Age Limit for Admission in Nursery Class

I have to admit my little daughter to the school in the nursery class but not sure at what age I should admit her can you please help me in this?

As this being the CBSE affiliated school so it most likely that the admission procedure to the school is going to be remain the same thorough out the country with only little bit of the changes –

Here are the details of the admission –

Registration Process

Application form is to be filled in & submitted in the school's administrative office within one week of the issue of the forms to get the admission

Admission to Pre-Nursery, Nursery & Prep at the school will be through Observation/Interaction of the aspirant. Both Parents are advised to be present on the occasion.

There will be written test for students seeking admission to classes I and above at the school. Only those candidates who clear the written test will be called for the interaction at the school to grant the admission to the school. During the interaction presence of both parents is essential.

At the time of registration, the following documents are to be submitted in Administrative office.

1. Registration Form duly filled in & signed.
2. Two Passport size coloured photographs
3. Proof of Date of Birth (Issued by Municipal Corporation or other authorised competent authority.)

Pupil who have attended other school cannot be admitted until Transfer Certificate from previous school is submitted at the school while seeking the admission.

in all matters related to admissions, the management's of the school decision is final.

Age Limit to get the admission

The age limit for admission to various classes as on 1st April, 2014 is as under:

2-1/2 yrs to 3-1/2 yrs--- Pre-Nursery
3-1/2 yrs to 4-1/2 yrs--- Nursery
4-1/2 yrs to 5-1/2 yrs--- Prep
5-1/2 yrs to 6-1/2 yrs--- I
