Can you give me information about age limits quota for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test? NEET or National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test is replaced by AIPMT. AIPMT is an Entrance Test for selection of candidates for admission to MBBS/BDS courses under 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical/Dental colleges of India under the control of DGHS, Govt. of India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana. Under 15% merit positions of All India Quota seats in Government Medical Colleges filled through the Counselling conducted by DGHS are All India quota seats. Besides under 15% merit positions of All India Quota seats, the following States/Universities/Institutions have also consented to use the merit list of AIPMT 2015 for admission to MBBS/BDS seats under their control: 1. Haryana 2. Himachal Pradesh 3. Madhya Pradesh 4. Andaman & Nicobar 5. Arunachal Pradesh 6. Manipur 7. Meghalaya 8. Odisha 9. Rajasthan 10. Chandigarh (UT) 11. University of Delhi 12. Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune 13. Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi (UP) 14. Hamdard University, New Delhi The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India Quota Seats is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. The All India Quota MBBS seat selections will be done on the basis of NEET score itself. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an entrance examination for admission in undergraduate medical course offered by college situated in India .. Age limit: The upper age limit for a candidate seeking admission under 15% All India Quota seats in Government Medical Colleges through National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Upper Age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes. There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing in the NEET for State Quota seats. NEET 2014 important dates (Tentative): Date of Examination, NEET (UG): First week of May 2014 Schedule for submission of application forms without late fee: First week of December 2013 to last week of December 2013 Date of receipt of confirmation page in CBSE: First week of January 2014 Schedule for submission of online application forms with late fee Rs.1000/-: First week of January 2014 to end of January 2014 Date of receipt of confirmation page in CBSE for the applications submitted late with fee of Rs.1000: First week of February 2014
