What is better, Diploma or 12th?

What is better, Diploma or 12th???? What should I opt after the completion of 10th????

Diploma is a very good course but only if done from a good college. The advantage of doing diploma course is that the students get admission into the second year of B.Tech directly, this is known as lateral entry admission.

Directly doing 12th opens the gates for Engineering but it’s very tough to crack the entrance examinations like JEE due to heavy competition, most of the students are very intelligently planning their path, the competition in lateral entrance test are having very low competition and easy to get a good rank, So most of the students get admission in the diploma courses rather then 12th.
