No doubt, you are eligible for the GATE exam after completing DOEACC B Level, as it is equivalent to MCA level, DOEACC Society is a joint Scheme of All India Council for Technical Education & Department of Information Technology (formerly Department of Electronics (DOE), Government of India.

The eligibility criteria for the GATE examination are as following:

GATE eligibility:
The applicant should have completed:

B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. passed or final year on a system of 10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years from AICTE approved institutes.

M.Sc.in any Science subject (Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Bio)/ M.Sc in Statistics/MCA passed or final year or its equivalent degree.

I have completed DOEACC B Level and now I want to apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam so can I eligible for this exam?

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India for admissions to various post-graduate education programs

This exam is normally held in February month of every year.

Yeah you are eligible to apply for GATE exam after DOEACC B Level course.

GATE Exam Eligibility


Bachelor degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture

Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent

Final year students can also apply.

Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/ Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/ Technology

Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE(I), AMICE(I) by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible.

GATE Exam Syllabus

Gate will consists of questions from:

General Aptitude (GA) component common in all papers

Verbal Ability: English grammar, sentence completion, verbal analogies, word groups, instructions, critical reasoning.

Engineering:- Question will be from the relevant subject of the trade.
